Acrylic on canvas (2026)
H 20 inches x W 28 inches
This work was inspired by a day spent at the beach in Emu Park, during a time of personal difficulty. Created intuitively, the piece reflects both a deep connection to Country and the presence of a heavier emotional landscape.
Despite this, the work draws on the quiet beauty of the natural environment and its capacity to offer a sense of grounding and gentle restoration. Flowing patterns move across the canvas, symbolising a form of healing that unfolds slowly and without urgency.
The piece holds space for contrasting emotions, where strength and struggle exist together, and serves as a quiet reminder of the resilience found within both.
