Aliceara Snowblind is one of my favourite orchids from my own backyard. Growing up, I lived next door to John, a scientist and orchid enthusiast, and spent countless afternoons helping him fertilise his collection and learning something new each time. One of his favourite orchid was the soft cane dendrobium, and it was through those moments in his garden that my love for orchids began.
